Position: Odoo Developer

Location: Hybrid

Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities:

• Develop and customize Odoo modules and applications based on client requirements.
• Integrate Odoo with other systems using APIs, web services, and other integration tools.
• Maintain, debug, and upgrade existing Odoo implementations.
• Work closely with business analysts and functional consultants to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Develop and implement custom reports, workflows, and automated actions within Odoo.
• Write clean, maintainable code following best practices and standards.
• Participate in the testing, deployment, and documentation processes.
• Provide support and maintenance for ongoing projects, ensuring system performance and user satisfaction.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and optimize Odoo-based systems.

Qualifications:

• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Proven experience in developing and customizing Odoo modules (minimum 2 years preferred).
• Strong knowledge of Python, XML, JavaScript, and PostgreSQL.
• Familiarity with Odoo frameworks and understanding of MVC architecture.
• Experience with API integration and third-party application connections to Odoo.
• Good understanding of business processes (such as Accounting, Sales, CRM, Inventory, and HR) and how they relate to Odoo is preferable.
• Ability to write technical documentation and provide technical support for users.
• Proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and Bootstrap is a plus.
• Experience with version control systems like Git is a must.
• Responsive, Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work under pressure.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferable.
• Odoo certification or experience with Odoo.sh and Odoo Enterprise is preferable.
• Experience with DevOps practices, including CI/CD tools and deployment on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, etc.).
• Knowledge of Docker and containerization technologies.
• Familiarity with ERP system design and business workflow configuration.
